The protection of your personal data is important to us. This privacy policy explains what data we collect when you visit this website, how it is used and what rights you have.
3. Data Collected When Visiting the Website
When you visit the website, our web-hosting provider IONOS processes technical connection data in server log files, including:
- IP address (IONOS states that IP addresses are anonymised in its log files)
- Date and time of access
- Name and URL of the requested file
- Website from which access was made (referrer URL)
- Browser used and, if applicable, your device's operating system
Purpose: Operating and securing the website.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests). IONOS states that web-hosting log files are retained for no more than eight weeks.
4. Contact Form
When you contact us by email, phone or the contact form, we process the information you provide. The form collects your name, email address, city/postcode, subject and message, and sends it to our IONOS mailbox. The form application does not add your IP address to the email. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual enquiries or, where appropriate, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for other enquiries.
5. Remote support and third-party services
Remote support is provided only after your explicit agreement. AnyDesk or TeamViewer may process connection and session data when you use the relevant software. Their own privacy notices also apply.
6. Cookies and local storage
Based on the current website code, this site does not set cookies or use analytics or advertising services. If you change the language using the language menu, your selection is stored in your browser's local storage under “wch_lang” so it can be remembered on a later visit. You can delete it in your browser settings.
7. Recipients and retention
IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany, provides the website hosting and email services used to deliver contact requests. If you use WhatsApp, AnyDesk or TeamViewer, the information needed for that communication or support session is transmitted to the relevant provider and its privacy notice also applies. Other disclosures are limited to what is needed for a service or required by law.
- Invoices: eight years from the end of the calendar year in which they were issued (§ 14b German VAT Act).
- Other tax records: generally six, eight or ten years, depending on the record (§ 147 German Fiscal Code); longer periods may apply while records remain relevant for tax purposes.
- Enquiries that do not result in a contract: six months after the last communication, and longer only where needed to clarify or pursue claims.
- Server log files: IONOS states a maximum retention period of eight weeks.
8. Your Rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
